The Six Kings Slam got underway in Saudi Arabia this week and for the stars of the tennis world, a huge payday is in store.
Despite concerns about the intense schedule, six elite players have agreed to participate in the exhibition event, introduced by Riyadh Season – the company behind the successful boxing and golf events – to improve Saudi Arabia’s appeal on a global scale.
Six of the world’s best ATP players will participate in the event, which began on 16 October and ends on 19 October.

Who is competing in the Six Kings Slam?
Fans in Saudi Arabia will get to watch six of the best players in the world across the next three days.
It will be one of the last times people will witness the brilliance of Rafael Nadal on court after the 22-time Grand Slam champion confirmed his retirement.
Novak Djokovic is also competing, as are Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune.
The 2024 Six Kings Slam draw
Due to Djokovic and Nadal receiving byes to the semi-finals, the other four competitors featured in the quarter-finals.
Sinner defeated Medvedev in the first quarter-final while Alcaraz beat Rune to set up an all-Spanish semi-final tie against Nadal.

- Semi-final 1 – October 17: Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner

The prize money on offer at the 2024 Six Kings Slam revealed

The Six Kings Slam will make history by offering the biggest payday in tennis.
All six competitors will receive $1.5m, no matter how far they go in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the winner will pocket $6m for going all the way, which is almost double than what the winner of Wimbledon would receive.
To put into context, Sinner earned $2.1m after winning the Australian Open and $3.6m for winning the US Open. Alcaraz made $2.6m for winning the French Open and $3.4m for winning Wimbledon.
