Jakub Mensik is the latest tennis star to end their 2024 season and look ahead to what 2025 has to offer.

Felix Auger-Aliassime confirmed the end of his season after withdrawing from the Paris Masters, with Naomi Osaka also ending her season after pulling out of the Hong Kong Open.

Mensik has now joined the party, with the 19-year-old having just retired during his Paris Masters qualifier with Corentin Moutet.

Moutet will now take on Ben Shelton in the opening round, with the winner set for a huge tie against Jannik Sinner.

Shelton will head to Paris fresh from his Basel Open final, where he was outdone by Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

“Big thanks to my wonderful team, the fans around the world, my sponsors, the tour, and my family who’s always there. Next season’s goal? Staying injury-free and building on this momentum. Can’t wait to see you all on the court in 2025!”
