Jack Draper and Mirra Andreeva head into the Miami Open at the very top of their games, having just won at Indian Wells.

Tim Henman thinks Draper can still improve, after the latter beat Holger Rune to win the ATP Masters 1000 title in California.

British number one Draper soar to a career-high seventh in the world rankings following his win at the hard court event.

Russian star Andreeva meanwhile defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the WTA 1000 event final, also securing a career-high rank.

Andreeva was nervous during the entire Indian Wells final, but is now up to sixth in the world after beating number one Sabalenka.

Mirra Andreeva and Jack Draper learn Miami Open potential opponents

Both Draper and Andreeva have huge challenges ahead of them in trying to make history, with both starting out in the round of 64.

But they will, of course, be joining an exclusive list of legendary figures should they achieve the Sunshine Double.

And that may just give them extra motivation, although it remains to be seen how fit they will be physically after lengthy runs in the desert.

Draper and Andreeva knocked out many big names on their way to their respective titles, and may just need a bit more recovery time than their opponents in Miami, which they simply won’t get.

Sixth seed Draper faces a tricky test against the winner of Roberto Bautista Agut and Jakub Mensik in his opener, while 11th seed Andreeva meets either Veronika Kudermetova or Wang Xinyu.
