Tim Henman says Jack Draper can ‘just accelerate’ on his forehand
His stunning run concluded with a 6-2, 6-2 final win over 12th seed Rune, with former British number one Tim Henman very excited for what Draper’s future holds.
Speaking on Sky Sports Tennis, Henman said: “I think this will just give Jack confidence that any time the ball is on his forehand he can just accelerate. He is hitting so aggressively it has margin for error, but it is not like it looks risky.
“But when you see where Rune is having to track down balls he is opening up the angles, so there is so many positives to take away for Jack and I still think there is areas that he can improve on.
“I think I heard he goes to seven in the rankings. You are trying to break the top 10 barrier and then suddenly he is seven in the world!”
