Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are comfortably the two dominant forces on the ATP Tour.
In 2025, they have shared all four Grand Slams for the second successive year and on Sunday, Sinner won the ATP Finals by beating Alcaraz in the final.
Alcaraz has finished the year as the world number one and along with Sinner, the pair are comfortably ahead of the chasing pack at the top of the ATP rankings.
Sinner praised Alcaraz after beating him in Turin and now he will rest up ahead of the Australian swing, whilst the Spaniard plays for his country at the Davis Cup.
Although both players are head and shoulders above the other players in terms of ranking points, the end of the season also offers a chance to look at prize money won and that in itself is quite remarkable.

How much Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have earned compared to Novak Djokovic in 2025
The money on offer in modern-day tennis makes the top end of the ATP Tour extremely lucrative and boy, do Alcaraz and Sinner know it.
For those two players, it’s been an incredibly good year in a financial sense with the sensational pair miles away from Alexander Zverev who sits third in the list.
| Player | Money won in 2025 |
| Jannik Sinner | $19,120,641 |
| Carlos Alcaraz | $18,803,427 |
| Alexander Zverev | $6,060,174 |
| Taylor Fritz | $5,475,728 |
| Felix Auger-Aliassime | $5,262,350 |

| Lorenzo Musetti | $4,852,243 |
| Ben Shelton | $4,745,259 |
| Jack Draper | $3446,994 |
Djokovic is the richest man on the tour, having played professional tennis for a number of years but when it comes to 2025, he finds himself miles away from Alcaraz and Sinner.
He picks and chooses when to play his events these days, with everything geared towards him trying to claim a 25th Grand Slam title before he calls time on his career.
The richest tennis players in history
When looking at the five richest tennis players in the history of the sport, the person sitting in number one is a bit of an unknown quantity.
Ion Tiriac sits top of the list, but a vast amount of the money he earned came from ice hockey, which he chose to play once his tennis career had ended.
Furthermore, he would ace things in the world of business, which gives him a wealth of around $1.2 billion.
| Player | Wealth |
| Ion Tiriac | $1.2bn |
| Roger Federer | $500m |
| Serena Williams | $300m |
| Novak Djokovic | $250m |
| Rafael Nadal | $220m |
The players just behind him won’t come as a surprise, with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and Djokovic all in the list of the wealthiest players of all time.
Although Alcaraz and Sinner have a task catching Tiriac, it feels absolutely feasible that they can catch up with the others, especially given the riches on offer in the game these days.
