Roland Garros finalists Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka are set to begin their Wimbledon campaigns, as both stars search for a maiden title in South West London.
Gauff defeated Sabalenka at the French Open to clinch her second Grand Slam title, handing the Belarusian another defeat in a major final this season.
Since their clash in Paris, the top two-ranked WTA players both featured at the Berlin Open and have now arrived in the English capital in preparation for the championships.
Following the Wimbledon draw, in which neither star has been given a favourable route to the title, Gauff and Sabalenka took to Centre Court at the All England Club to play a practice match.

Coco Gauff’s Wimbledon practice session with Aryna Sabalenka
Gauff and Sabalenka played a short practice set, where the American served first against her opponent.
Sabalenka immediately broke the 21-year-old’s serve and followed it up with a comfortable hold to make it 2-0.
At 3-1, the three-time Grand Slam champion broke again after a double fault from her French Open final conqueror.
After that, however, Gauff won the next three games to make it 4-4, at which point the two decided to play a tiebreaker, which the world number two won.

Gauff has defeated Sabalenka six times in her career, with the first victory coming in 2020 at the Lexington Open.
Her first win in the rivalry at a Grand Slam came at the US Open in 2023, where she won over three sets in the final.
Their next meeting at a major went the way of Sabalenka, who beat Gauff in straight sets in the semi-finals of the Australian Open in 2024.
The current head-to-head record between them across all tour-level events is 6-5 in favour of the Roland Garros champion.
