Carlos Alcaraz continued his stunning season at Queen’s, lifting the trophy in London for the second time.
Alcaraz has proven Sam Querrey wrong after winning his 21st ATP Tour title, which was his fifth of 2025 so far.
ATP number two Alcaraz now turns his attention to Wimbledon, having already won the French Open this season.
Nick Kyrgios has backed Alcaraz for Wimbledon success, with the Spaniard entering the event as the two-time defending champion.
He overcame Novak Djokovic in both the 2023 and 2024 finals, denying the Serbian a record-equalling eighth title.

Marion Bartoli says what Carlos Alcaraz does differently to every other player at Grand Slams
It is Roger Federer who leads the way with eight Wimbledon titles, followed by the seven of Djokovic, Pete Sampras and William Renshaw.
Alcaraz meanwhile is a two-time champion, with former professional Marion Bartoli believing the Spaniard does something differently to every other player at Grand Slam-level that has helped him achieve huge success in his career.
She said on BBC Sounds: “I just think for Carlos one thing that he does very differently from other players is that he doesn’t hit a tennis ball on his day off in a Grand Slam.
“So he will go and do a bit of fitness, but he will rest from the tennis and only warm up on the tennis court on match day.
“I think saving himself from not overplaying constantly and having that fear of ‘Oh my God if I miss one day on the court I am going to miss my tennis’. I think that is giving him a platform to recover faster.
“Because you don’t overload your body with constant tennis and I think he knows exactly what he needs to get himself ready.
“He needs that part of sometimes having a vacation even though he had been criticised for taking some vacation in Cancun after losing in Miami but it worked out pretty well for him! He basically won everything on clay except that final in Barcelona, where he got injured.

“He does things in a way which work for him in a way which help him mentally engage in the tournaments that matter, which are the Masters 1000 and Grand Slams. And he has been able every single time to show up and play amazing tennis.
“I think at Queen’s the way he has been able throughout those tough matches to still come back and saving break points, to being able to be tough on the match situation, is showing that for him he needs time out of tennis to relax and then come back stronger. I have zero doubt that he will absolutely be the top favourite for Wimbledon once again this year.”
Carlos Alcaraz entire Grand Slam history heading into Wimbledon
Alcaraz has stormed to a 42-5 win-loss record in 2025, with his prize money total now approaching the $7.5million mark.
Those tallies are only going to become more impressive as the season progresses, with a lot of tennis still to be played.

And it does seem like another Wimbledon title is very much on the cards, although world number one Jannik Sinner will be desperate to prevent that from happening.
The pair have only just started what is certain to be a thrilling rivalry, with the Italian currently holding the bragging rights in terms of the ATP rankings.
