Mirra Andreeva has made huge strides in her brief career so far, with the 17-year-old having just won the Dubai Tennis Championships.
Andreeva has emulated Rafael Nadal with her first WTA 1000 title, with the success coming via a final win over Clara Tauson.
Teenage star Andreeva also beat the likes of Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina during her superb Dubai Tennis Championships run.
She beat second seed Swiatek in the quarter-finals and sixth seed Rybakina in the semi-finals, before overcoming Tauson 7-6(7-1), 6-1.
Andreeva, who was the 12th seed at the Dubai Tennis Championships, clinched her final victory in one hour and 46 minutes.

She has, however, been catching the eye of her fellow WTA stars Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur for quite some time.
Speaking ahead of the new season, both Sabalenka and Jabeur backed Andreeva to break the top 10 in 2025.
She was 16th in the world at the time, with that prediction having now already come true in February, with Andreeva climbing from 14th to ninth in the WTA rankings.
Sabalenka meanwhile remains in top spot in the latest rankings, with Jabeur currently occupying 33rd place.

The latest rise from Andreeva proves her superb ability and indeed her very promising future, with the Russian only set to turn 18 in April.
But it also proves just how highly both Sabalenka and Jabeur rate the youngster, with Andreeva taking no time at all in living up to their expectations.

The exciting teenager is now a two-time WTA Tour champion, having won her first title in Iasi in July 2024.
In a first career meeting between Andreeva and Tauson, the former fired six aces and won 73.3% of her first serve points en route to the trophy.
