The 2024 Laver Cup is already well underway, with Team Europe and Team World having gone into day two level at 2-2.
Berlin’s Uber Arena is hosting the action, in what is the final Laver Cup for captains Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe.
Both have, however, already looked ahead to the 2025 Laver Cup in San Francisco, with Borg telling Yannick Noah simply not to lose next time out.
And McEnroe thinks Andre Agassi will impress as his successor, with the former’s Team World side currently on a two-year winning streak.
Team Europe did, however, win the first four editions of the Laver Cup, and look good for another win given they have five top-10 players among their ranks.

What would a women’s Laver Cup look like based on WTA rankings?
Discussion has now emerged regarding a women’s Laver Cup and what that may look like, with Bastien Fachan sharing the Team World and Team Europe selections based on the current WTA rankings.
Team Europe would boast leading stars Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina, joined by Jasmine Paolini, Maria Sakkari, Barbora Krejcikova and Jelena Ostapenko.
Team World meanwhile would include Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Zheng Qinwen, Emma Navarro, Danielle Collins, Beatriz Haddad Maia and Ons Jabeur.
Who would captain the women’s teams at the Laver Cup?
The prospective women’s teams certainly closely resemble those of the men’s teams in Berlin, particularly Team World given the USA representation.
Team Europe meanwhile, like Borg’s side, would have five top-10 players, although intriguingly so would Team World.
The likes of Naomi Osaka, Bianca Andreescu and Leylah Fernandez could be among those eager to upset the status quo and fight for a place in the potential event.

Another major issue would, of course, arrive with the captains, although there is certainly no shortage of female legends to choose from.
Serena Williams and Venus Williams would undoubtedly be popular choices for Team World, while Martina Navratilova could throw her hat in the ring for Team Europe.
