Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek have taken the world by storm lately, with the tennis stars looking very hard to beat.

Both have shown their prowess at a very young age, with the former already on three Grand Slam titles and the latter already on five.

The Spaniard is just 21 years old, with the Pole only 23, with their latest major successes coming at the French Open.

The duo each earned $2.6million (£2.04million) for their wins, with Swiatek topping the list of prize money earned in 2024 so far after her victory, with $6.68million.

They also helped create history after their Paris glory, with the ATP and WTA announcing their newest rankings following the tournament.

Jannik Sinner and Alcaraz held numbers one and two respectively in the former, with Swiatek and Coco Gauff numbers one and two in the latter, marking the first time that all four players occupying the top two spots were born in the 2000s.

The French Open champions will, however, have already put the success behind them, with Wimbledon now just around the corner.

And the duo are well underway with their preparations, with footage emerging on the official Wimbledon X account of Alcaraz and Swiatek practising at SW19.

Will Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek clinch further Grand Slam success at Wimbledon?

The world’s leading stars across men’s and women’s tennis will soon take to the grass court for another Wimbledon tournament.

Qualifiers are already underway in London, with the main draw set to get underway at the beginning of July.

Each and every player will have their eyes on the prize, but all ATP and WTA stars will know just how difficult it will be to overcome Alcaraz and Swiatek respectively.

The Spaniard goes into the competition as the defending champion, having beaten Novak Djokovic in superb fashion last time out.

Swiatek meanwhile has not enjoyed the same level of success at Wimbledon, with her best finish coming in the quarter-finals last year.Just like the Australian Open, the London tournament eludes her, with the Pole clinching four French Open titles and one US Open title.

Alcaraz is another yet to taste Australian Open success, but he has won on all three surfaces thanks to his US Open title.
