We’re well and truly into the thick of it at the final Grand Slam of the calendar year and today will see the third day of the US Open serve up another selection of great contests.
If day three is just as dramatic as the day before, then we’re in for a treat.
Dan Evans produced a sensational comeback and set a record for the longest-ever match at the US Open while fellow British stars Jack Draper and Katie Boulter also booked their place in the next round.
2021 winner Emma Radacanu was knocked out however but big names such as Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev all comfortably breezed through.
Today is expected to provide another thrilling day of contests at Flushing Meadows as Novak Djokovic and US star Coco Gauff both take to the courts.

Key storylines to follow on day three of the 2024 US Open
Djokovic will take on a familiar opponent in the shape of Laslo Djere, who he faced at the same tournament last year, while Gauff is presented with a tricky second-round tie against German Tatjana Maria.
Both will be the favorites for their respective games however Djokovic had to win last year’s match-up in five sets while Gauff has struggled with her forehand game for some time.
One of the games of the day however will see Italian Matteo Berrettini go up against Taylor Fritz at the Louis Armstrong Stadium. The number 12 seed Fritz will have the backing of the home crowd and comes into it as the slight favorite, having never lost against Berrettini.
Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka is also in action, going up against Lucia Bronzetti, where she is expected to get to the third round without any major problems.
Elsewhere at the Grandstand a rejuvenated Casper Ruud and Gael Monfils face each other in what is poised to be a thrilling match.

How to watch day three of the US Open 2024 in the USA
Fans in America can watch live coverage of the 2024 US Open on ESPN and the Tennis Channel throughout the tournament.
Broadcasts on day three will run on the Tennis Channel from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. before ESPN takes over from 11 a.m. through to 11 p.m.
ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN+ will all provide tennis coverage today. Additionally, ESPN Deportes will show the action with Spanish commentary.
