The final rankings for the ATP and WTA have been confirmed as the 2024 season comes to an end.
It’s been another excellent year of tennis, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz largely dominating on the ATP.
Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, meanwhile, are among the top 10 in the WTA rankings after stellar years from both.

Jannik Sinner dominates ATP rankings as Taylor Fritz earns top five spot
It’s no surprise to see that it was Jannik Sinner leading away at the top, and by some distance.
Sinner has ruled the ATP tour this year and has ended the yearly rankings with a score of 11,830. For context his closest challenger, Alexander Zverev, is just under 4,000 points shy with a score of 7,915.
Carlos Alcaraz completes the top three list whilst the only American representative, Taylor Fritz, has managed to finish in fourth – which is a career high.
Daniil Medvedev completes the top five and is followed by Casper Ruud and Novak Djokovic, who despite his injuries this year, still features in the upper echelons of the ranking system.
Andrey Rublev, Alex De Minaur and Grigor Dimitrov round off the top 10.

Aryna Sabalenka lands on top as Coco Gauff secures top three spot after WTA finals succeess
Aryna Sabalenka will end the year top of the WTA rankings but is closely followed by Iga Swiatek in second spot.
Coco Gauff recently celebrated her first WTA Finals success after beating Zheng Qinwen, who moved up two spots to finish fifth in the rankings, in Saudi Arabia and has been rewarded with a top three spot.
Jasmine Paolini rounds off the top four while as a result of Zheng’s rise to fifth, Elena Rybakina has dropped to sixth.
Jessica Pegula has also been affected by the change in rankings and is seventh while the third US star in the rankings, Emma Navarro, has finished the year in eighth.
Daria Kasatkina is ninth and the final spot is a late top 10 entry in Czechia star Barbora Krejcikova, who has moved up three places to enter the list.
