Taylor Fritz was among the star names signed up for the Vienna Open, but the American has now withdrawn from the event.
Fritz was confirmed for Dominic Thiem’s farewell tournament, but the US Open finalist now won’t be at the competition later this month.
American star Fritz moved up to sixth place in the ATP rankings after the Shanghai Masters, having reached the semi-finals.
After beating the likes of Holger Rune and David Goffin, the 26-year-old was knocked out by four-time champion Novak Djokovic.
The Serbian star went on to lose the final to Jannik Sinner, who incidentally beat Fritz at the same stage of the US Open last month.

Fritz has been busy since Flushing Meadows, playing in the Laver Cup, Japan Open and Shanghai Masters.
But as confirmed by Jose Morgado, an appearance in Vienna can now be ruled out, with Fritz and Sebastian Korda both withdrawing.
The American duo will be replaced by Gael Monfils and Marcos Giron, with Fabian Marozsan next in line in Austria.
How has Taylor Fritz performed since reaching the US Open final?
Fritz hasn’t had it easy since that stunning US Open run on home soil, having lost the Laver Cup with Team World shortly after.
The American then suffered an early exit in Japan to Arthur Fils, but managed to recover with a fantastic run in Shanghai.
He was set to be one of the top seeds at the Vienna Open, although the competition does remain strong despite his absence.

World number three Alexander Zverev is set to take part in Austria, along with the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Grigor Dimitrov.
All eyes will, however, be on 2020 US Open champion Thiem, who will hang up his racket after the tournament.
Currently, however, many ATP stars are battling it out in Sweden and Kazakhstan at the Nordic Open and Almaty Open respectively.
