Roger Federer’s agent has shared his views on three-time Grand Slam champion Jannik Sinner.
The Italian is in the form of his life after he became the youngest man to win back-to-back Australian Open titles.
He is the undisputed World number one and has not suffered a defeat since the China Open final in October 2024, courtesy of Carlos Alcaraz.
There seems to be no stopping Sinner at the moment and Roger Federer’s agent Tony Godsick thinks he is on course for a legendary career.

Roger Federer’s agent Tony Godsick says what he thinks of Jannik Sinner
Jannik Sinner continues to gain plaudits around the world following his excellent run since guiding Italy to Davis Cup glory in 2023.
Since then he has won each of the hard court Grand Slam that has been held and Sinner has lost just three matches since becoming World number one.
The 23-year-old has pushed himself to the forefront of a new era in men’s tennis and is fast developing a great legacy in the sport.
Like many, Godsick has been watching Sinner’s career unfold and says he reminds him of the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
“At the moment as a global star he cannot replace Federer or Nadal. But he is loved by the people, he plays a type of tennis that I like a lot and he knows how to give his best in the moments that matter,” Godsick told Italian outlet LA Stampa.
“I don’t know if he can become a legend like Roger or Rafa, but he is on the right path… he is serious, very professional, he behaves well on the court and does not do stupid things off it… in this he reminds me of Roger.”

Jannik Sinner shares experience of practicing with Roger Federer
Sinner was unable to play a competitive match against Federer before he retired from tennis in September 2022.
However, he was able to practice with the Swiss Maestro at the Halle Open in 2019 when he was just 17 years of age.
This was the year in which Federer won his 10th and final title in Halle, and Sinner looks back on that time with fond memories.
“I didn’t have the chance to play against Roger in an official match, and this is something that I will always miss, but I do remember the practice sessions with him,” Sinner told ATPTour.com in June 2024.
“I didn’t have many, so I do remember every single one, more or less. He gave me just kind of mental advice: Try to enjoy it and keep looking forward to working hard. That’s the only thing he told me, and it was very nice to share a court with him.”
