Novak Djokovic can sometimes divide opinion amongst fans, players and tennis coaches.
Djokovic did not get the same support as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, something he has openly admitted himself.
However, there now appears to be more appreciation for the Serbian, as Djokovic moves closer to retirement.
After Djokovic lost to Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon, Patrick Mouratoglou has revealed what he really thinks about the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

Mouratoglou, who is the current coach of Naomi Osaka, spoke to Nick Kyrgios in a video for the UTS Tour about many different topics.
One of those topics was Djokovic, who Mouratoglou previously claimed is struggling like Serena Williams, who he coached for 10 years.
Despite this previous admission, Mouratoglou spoke about why he loves the way Djokovic conducts himself and is true to himself.
“I really love him,” said Mouratoglou. “Do you know what I love in him? He is probably the only tennis player that I have seen for very long. Huge champion. Who does not care. He has his beliefs and he stands with his beliefs, even if everyone is against him. This is unbelievable.
“We are in a world where everybody is following the trends and scared to do something wrong. He is careful but when he believes in something, nothing is going to stop him. I think this is really, really special. I really value that so much, even more today with social media and everything.”
What is next for Novak Djokovic?
There are a lot of questions about the future of Djokovic after his Wimbledon semifinal exit, with the North American hard court swing now approaching.
Djokovic is entered into both the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Open ahead of the US Open this year, but it is unclear if he will actually play those tournaments.
Despite being a four-time champion at the Canadian Open, Djokovic has not competed at the Masters 1000 tournament since 2018.
Djokovic has also only competed at the Cincinnati Open once in the past four years, winning the title in 2023.
The US Open will be the next big goal for the 38-year-old, as Djokovic looks to break the dominance of Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
