Jannik Sinner continues to be compared to two of the greatest tennis players of all time
Sinner is a four-time Grand Slam champion, with his most recent major triumph coming at Wimbledon.
As the Italian looks to step up his preparation for the US Open, Sinner is currently competing at the Cincinnati Open.
Despite continuing his title defence without dropping a set, Sinner has not been entirely happy with how he has played, but the world number one has still been praised for his performances.

Patrick McEnroe says Jannik Sinner is a combination of Andre Agassi and Novak Djokovic
Patrick McEnroe, who is the younger brother of John McEnroe, is a former doubles Grand Slam champion.
After watching the Wimbledon final, Patrick McEnroe was full of praise for Sinner, and he has now continued his plaudits for the Italian.
Following Sinner’s latest victory over Gabriel Diallo at the Cincinnati Open, McEnroe compared him to two multiple-time Grand Slam champions.
Sinner is regularly compared to Novak Djokovic, which McEnroe agrees with, and he also named Andre Agassi.
McEnroe wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Sinner is a combination of Agassi and Djokovic. So so good.”
How does Jannik Sinner compare to Novak Djokovic and Andre Agassi before they turned 24?
On August 15, Sinner will turn 24 years old, but he has already achieved so much in his young career.
Sinner has already been world number one for over a year, whereas both Djokovic and Agassi did not reach the summit of the ATP rankings until after their 24th birthday.
All three players won 20+ titles before they turned 24 years old, but Sinner has won three more Grand Slam titles than Djokovic and Agassi at the same age.
| ATP Players before turning 24 | Jannik Sinner | Novak Djokovic | Andre Agassi |
| Career-high ranking | No.1 (62 weeks*) | No.2 | No.3 |
| Total titles won | 20 | 25 | 20 |
| Grand Slam titles won | 4 | 1 | 1 |
Sinner will be unable to add any more titles before his 24th birthday, but will look to continue his title defence at the Cincinnati Open against Adrian Mannarino.
This will be the fourth time that he has played Mannarino, with Sinner winning all three of their previous meetings.
