Jannik Sinner has continued his title defence at the Cincinnati Open after beating Gabriel Diallo.

Sinner won the Cincinnati Open for the first time last year, before going on to claim victory at the US Open as well.

After winning Wimbledon, Sinner returned to the refurbished Cincinnati Open in seemingly impressive form after winning his opening two matches in straight sets.

However, it appears that the world number one was not entirely happy after he was spotted doing something on the practice court straight after beating Diallo.

What Jannik Sinner was seen doing after his latest win at the Cincinnati Open

Sinner beat Diallo, 6-2 7-6(6), and even had to save a set point in the second set tie-break.

After winning his opening match against Daniel Elahi Galan, Sinner admitted he had three improvements he wanted to make.

One of those was related to his serve, and it appears that Sinner was not happy with it once again after he was spotted practicing his serve straight after his match.

This is similar to something that happened to his rival Carlos Alcaraz, who also went to the practice court after his latest win in Cincinnati.

When comparing the serving statistics between Sinner’s two matches at the Cincinnati Open so far, there are some notable regressions in his latest match against Diallo.

Particularly in his first serve percentage, which was down at 50% in his match against Diallo.

The one service statistic that was improved against Diallo was the number of points he won on his second serve.

Jannik Sinner vs Adrian Mannarino Head-to-Head

Sinner will hope that he can improve his serve again for his fourth round match at the Cincinnati Open against former top 20 player Adrian Mannarino.

Despite Mannarino just beating Tommy Paul, Sinner has every reason to be feeling confident about playing the Frenchman.

This will be a fourth meeting between Sinner and Mannarino, with the Italian winning all three of their previous encounters.
