Novak Djokovic will be devastated to have not only lost the Wimbledon final, but to have rolled over so easily.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion was beaten in straight sets by Carlos Alcaraz, with many at SW19 certain to have also been let down by the lack of tennis played.
He certainly wasn’t himself on Centre Court, with former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli noticing a lack of expressions from Djokovic.
That said, he had only just come back from a torn meniscus, while he was also facing a near-unstoppable force in Alcaraz.
The duo will likely take some time away to reflect on their performances, although the 2024 Olympics are rapidly approaching.

What are the two big goals of Novak Djokovic after his Wimbledon final loss?
Both players are set to play in Paris, with Alcaraz set to represent Spain and Djokovic set to line out for Serbia.
The latter has now revealed his plans for the near future, beginning with the Olympics, which begins later this month.
“The Olympic Games and the US Open are the two big goals for the rest of the year for me really,” Djokovic said in his final Wimbledon press conference.
“I am hoping that I can be at my best for those two tournaments. That’s all I can say right now.”
Can Novak Djokovic cope with the change of surfaces?
Djokovic clearly has big aims for the rest of the season, but the 37-year-old is also already looking ahead to next summer.
After his lengthy run at the All England Club this time around, Djokovic has said he would ‘love’ to play Wimbledon again next year.
But whether his body allows him to is another matter, with the Serbian certain to have been feeling the impacts of his recent surgery on the SW19 grass.
The quick change of surfaces this summer could take its toll, with Djokovic set to move from clay, to grass, back to clay in a short period of time.
He played on clay before withdrawing from the French Open, with the Olympics set to take place at the same venue.
