Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have continued their superb seasons at Wimbledon, which they entered with one Grand Slam title each to their names.
Alcaraz defeated Sinner in the French Open final, after the ATP Tour number one beat Alexander Zverev in the Australian Open final.
Their rivalry represents one of the most exciting in tennis, and looks certain to continue for many years to come.
The duo have already been dominating Grand Slams for some time, having combined to win the last six titles heading into Wimbledon.
Sinner and Alcaraz also represent seven of the last eight Grand Slam champions, with Novak Djokovic as the anomaly.

Nick Kyrgios names world’s best player between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner
Nick Kyrgios backed Alcaraz to win Wimbledon ahead of Sinner, with the Australian now sharing an updated take on the duo as the Grand Slam enters its latter stages.
Kyrgios said on talkSPORT after Alcaraz knocked out Cam Norrie in the quarterfinals: “This is the thing with Alcaraz.
“He’ll get better as the tournament goes on and now in the business end of the tournament. I just felt like Cam couldn’t really get any momentum going.
“I feel like this is just the maturity of Alcaraz. He’s only early 20s and he’s still finding a way to just dominate matches like this, where Cam would have had the entire crowd behind him and just wasn’t able to get any sort of momentum.
“Props to Cam he had a great tournament, but this is what I was saying, that Alcaraz and Sinner are just head and shoulders above the rest of the field.
“Whether Djokovic can do it or not, I’m not too sure, but I felt for Cam out there. He was suffocated, he really was.”

Continuing his verdict on Alcaraz, Kyrgios said: “He’s definitely the best in the world, best player in the world. And yeah physicality, he reminds me a little of Rafa Nadal. They play with such great athletic ability.
“And he’s got the talent of Roger Federer, and he can really just be the villain like Novak Djokovic. He’s got a bit of everyone to be honest. So he’s scary.
“He didn’t really impress me so much throughout the championships, but yesterday was the first time I was like ‘Okay, Alcaraz has arrived here at the championships, and he’s here to win it again’.”
Jannik Sinner vs Carlos Alcaraz ATP Tour title records
Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal dominated the men’s Grand Slam scene for several years, and Sinner and Alcaraz are now doing the same.
Whether or not a third player can challenge their reign remains to be seen, but one certainty is that their Grand Slam tallies will not stop here.
Sinner, 23, has won three of his major finals and lost one, while 22-year-old Alcaraz has won all five of his finals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, their feats have not been limited to Grand Slam level, with the Spaniard boasting 21 ATP Tour titles overall, while Sinner has 19.
| Jannik Sinner | Year | Carlos Alcaraz |

| 8 | 2024 | 4 |
| 4 | 2023 | 6 |
| 1 | 2022 | 5 |

It may, however, be best to appreciate the talents of both superstars as opposed to comparing them at this stage.
They have already produced several thrilling contests from their 12 ATP Tour meetings, eight of which have been won by Alcaraz.
