Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic have been impressing at Wimbledon this year, with both players looking to topple two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Alcaraz is into the Wimbledon quarter-finals after beating Andrey Rublev, and faces British player Cam Norrie for a spot in the semi-finals.

He defeated Djokovic in each of the last two Wimbledon finals, and is currently on an 18-match winning streak at the Grand Slam.

Another final between the Spaniard and the Serbian has been possible right from the start, with Djokovic not in Alcaraz’s Wimbledon draw.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion is, however, in the same half of the draw as ATP Tour number one Sinner.

“With his age and how he’s been playing, we have seen some of the best tennis we have seen from him in a while.”

Prakash Amritraj then commented: “It’s a tough one. I have been very impressed with Novak, but Sinner has just looked nasty!”

And Courier said: “Novak has barely lost a set, but Sinner has barely lost games. I’m going to go with Sinner.”

Being drawn in the same half of Wimbledon means there is a potential reunion between Sinner and Djokovic.

And that could take place in the semi-finals if all goes to plan for the duo, who must first make it into the quarter-finals.
