Jannik Sinner has had a roller-coaster few months, with that journey culminating in a US Open victory.
Sinner called Roger Federer the greatest player ever after winning the US Open, with the Italian now aiming to follow in his footsteps in terms of Grand Slams.
Federer clinched 20 Grand Slam titles throughout his stunning career, with Sinner now on two after his US Open and Australian Open wins in 2024.
But the world number one was heavily distracted before his latest major success, having been embroiled in a drugs case this summer.
Sinner was exonerated in a doping case less than a week before the event in New York began, having twice tested positive for the banned for the banned substance clostebol.

Jannik Sinner set to appoint former Novak Djokovic team member
But the Italian was cleared of any wrongdoing, with an independent tribunal accepting that he was exposed to the substance via a bare-handed massage by his physiotherapist Giacomo Naldi.
Sinner parted ways with both Naldi and trainer Umberto Ferrara before the US Open, with the player now set to replace the latter with Marco Panichi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The newspaper reported that Sinner will soon formalise the appointment, with Panichi having previously served as athletic trainer to Novak Djokovic.
Boris Becker applauds Jannik Sinner decision before the US Open
Sinner is currently enjoying his US Open success, having defeated Taylor Fritz in straight sets at Flushing Meadows.
He was seemingly unaffected by the major distraction ahead of the Grand Slam, storming his way to a first US Open title.
But the decision to part ways with two members of his team may have helped in his endeavour, with Boris Becker supporting Sinner’s split with Naldi and Ferrara.
An interesting twist now looks to be taking place in the form of Djokovic’s former team member Panichi, who is likely to help Sinner take his game to another level given what the Serbian has achieved over the years.
The world number one still has a busy year ahead, but he has been given time to rest as opposed to representing Italy in the Davis Cup Finals group stage in Bologna this week.
