The Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany is the setting for the upcoming edition of the team competition where Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe will be captains for the final time.
Team World has won the last two editions of the Laver Cup and they are determined to make it three victories in a row.
Shelton, the ATP’s World number 17, will have a big part to play in their chances of success this year and he is set to participate in both singles and doubles action.

Ben Shelton has a good relationship with his colleges on Team World, especially those who hail from America.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that he would like to contest his doubles matches at the Laver Cup alongside either Taylor Fritz and or Frances Tiafoe.
“That’s one guy I want to play with. [Fritz] I’m sure I’ll get out there with Frances at some point too, we played really well together last year,” the 2023 US Open semi-finalist told the Laver Cup website.
The trio faced each other at the 2024 US Open, where Tiafoe defeated Shelton in a five-set thriller to reach the fourth round.
He made it to the semi-finals where he faced Fritz and fans were treated to another five-set epic, but Fritz outlasted Tiafoe to reach his first US Open final, where he lost to Jannik Sinner.
