Jannik Sinner capped off his phenomenal 2025 ATP season in the best way possible.

Sinner’s triumph over Carlos Alcaraz at the ATP Finals marked the end of what has been an incredibly successful year for the Italian.

Since January, he has won six tour-level titles, including a second consecutive Australian Open crown, and a maiden Wimbledon championship.

The 24-year-old picked up 57 wins throughout the season and lost just six matches, four of which were handed to him by Alcaraz.

However, neither his title tally nor his win-loss record is the scariest aspect of Sinner‘s 2025 ATP campaign.

Jannik Sinner’s incredible year-end ATP statistic

Sinner may not have finished the season as the world number one, but he did end the year in the top spot in two key categories.

Despite struggling with the shot at times this year, particularly at the US Open, Sinner led the tour in serve rating.

How many Grand Slam titles will Jannik Sinner win in 2026?

As per ATP Statistics, Sinner enjoyed a 297.1 serve rating, which takes into account first serve percentage, first and second serve points won, service games won, as well as average aces and double faults per match.

His tally was greater than dominant servers such as Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Reilly Opelka, and Ben Shelton.

5Reilly Opelka293.7
6Matteo Berrettini 293.2
7Alexander Zverev291.2
8Felix Auger-Aliassime289.2
9Ben Shelton287.8

Additionally, Sinner finished first in return rating with a total of 169.2, 4.2 higher than Alcaraz in second and 11 higher than Alex de Minaur in third.

His improved numbers from 2024 show that the four-time major champion is continuing to improve his game, having already achieved so much at such a young age, which should frighten every other player on tour attempting to close the gap on him.

Jannik Sinner has added more variety to his game in 2026

Not only have his serve and return improved this year, but Sinner has added more variety and unpredictability into his game in 2025.

He explained after losing the US Open final to Alcaraz that he needed to make these improvements in order to keep the rivalry with the Spaniard competitive, and he has done just that.

During the Asian swing and the indoor hard court season, Sinner has adapted his game, with more serve and volley points, more dropshots, and an improved net game.

For a while now, he has been the best baseline hitter in the sport, and with new additions to an already dominant game, he may just become unbeatable.
