Coco Gauff has achieved superb Grand Slam success in her career so far, with two major titles claimed.
Gauff won the US Open in 2023, and followed suit at the 2025 US Open, defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the final on both occasions.
The fantastic success arrived after initial heartbreak, with the American having lost the 2022 French Open final to Iga Swiatek.
Gauff has also impressed at the Australian Open throughout her career, storming to the semifinals in Melbourne back in 2024.
But any real joy at Wimbledon has thus far eluded the 22-year-old, who has a truly remarkable record at the All England Club.

Coco Gauff must fix her surprising Wimbledon record
Gauff not only made her Wimbledon debut in 2019, but her career Grand Slam debut, and remarkably she was only 15 years old.
Ranked 313th in the world, the youngster made it through qualifying in London to set up a blockbuster first round tie with WTA legend Venus Williams.
And it was the rising star who emerged victorious, defeating the 39-year-old 6-4, 6-4 after becoming the youngest player to qualify for the Wimbledon main draw since the Open Era started in 1968.
Gauff went on to reach the fourth round, which very surprisingly represents her best-ever finish at Wimbledon.
She has reached that stage on three occasions but has never gone further, despite having shown so much promise on the grass when she was just 15.
And it’s not as if she hasn’t had the opportunities, with Gauff having now played at the grass-court Grand Slam six times.
Prove us wrong…
What is Coco Gauff’s Wimbledon history?
With titles on the hard courts of the US Open and the clay courts of the French Open, it is seemingly the grass courts that are holding Gauff back from Wimbledon success.
Not every player is able to make the transition to the surface, with the American superstar one of the most high-profile players arguably in that category.
With seven Wimbledon titles, her fellow American Serena Williams had no such issues, while fellow legend Martina Navratilova tops the all-time list with nine.

But 18-time Grand Slam champion Chris Evert only claimed three Wimbledon titles, as did Margaret Court, who tops the all-time titles list with 24.
Aged 22, Gauff still has plenty of time to fix her worrying record in the English capital, which could also be down to the quick turnaround heading into the tournament.
That was possibly the reason for her most recent run, with the second seed suffering a shock loss to Dayana Yastremska in her very first Wimbledon match last year.

Shortly before that major upset, Gauff lifted the French Open trophy, but was only able to play in one grass-court tournament before heading to the All England Club, losing her opener in Berlin.
It’s not quite time for the seven-tournament grass-court swing on the WTA calendar, with 10 tournaments comprising the clay-court swing first.
