WTA Italian Open predictions
George Patten: “Having won the event in three of the previous four years, Iga Swiatek will travel to Rome in 2025 as one of the big favorites. Her form may be shakier heading into the tournament than she’d like, but that might not stop her from picking up her fourth Italian Open title. That’s not to say it’ll be easy, however, as the likes of Aryna Sabalenka and Mirra Andreeva could prove dangerous in the capital.”
Matthew Johns: “The Italian Open is usually a really good indicator of who is in contention for Roland Garros, and this year is a big chance for Iga Swiatek to really step up. She has won the Italian Open three times before, and I think she can make it four this year for what would be a much-needed title victory.”
