Carlos Alcaraz is yet to play mixed doubles in a career that has seen him win four Grand Slam titles at just 21-years-old.
Alcaraz has enjoyed another stellar year on the ATP Tour that saw him pick up his third and fourth Major titles.
The Spaniard won his first Roland Garros title earlier this year as Alcaraz beat Alexander Zverev to take home the French Open trophy.
Alcaraz then took down Novak Djokovic in straight sets to win Wimbledon, defending a Grand Slam title for the first time in his career.
The 21-year-old also made his first big move into doubles in 2024, as Alcaraz partnered with Rafael Nadal at the Paris Olympics, making it all the way to the quarter-finals.
It’s a WTA star however, that is hoping to share the court with Alcaraz in 2025 and beyond.
Barbora Krejcikova says that Carlos Alcaraz is her dream mixed doubles partner
Barbora Krejcikova is currently competing in the WTA Finals in Saudi Arabia and asked fans to send in some questions on X, ahead of her semi-final against Qinwen Zheng.
One fan asked who she would most like to play mixed doubles with in the future.
“Carlos Alcaraz,” she said.
Krejcikova has had previous success in mixed doubles, winning three Australian Open titles with Rajeev Ram.
She was asked a number of other quickfire questions, such as what she considers to be her WTA match of the year.
“This season, I really enjoyed [Aryna] Sabalenka and [Iga] Swiatek in Madrid final,” she said.
Krejcikova named Swiatek once more when she was asked who her favorite opponent is.
“I like to play against Iga [Swiatek] because she brings out the best in me and I always know it’s going to be a good match,” said Krejcikova.
The Czech star was also asked what she thinks is the reason behind her inconsistency on the WTA Tour.
“I wish I knew the answer,” said Krejcikova.
“I think for example in 2021, I was very consistent.
“This year was a rollercoaster, but overall it’s very complex.
“Sometimes it’s injuries preventing me, sometimes the mental part.
“I am not a robot.”

Whilst Krejcikova and Alcaraz would certainly be an interesting partnership, the sport has seen some even crazier teams over the years.
Plenty of legends from the WTA and ATP Tour have come together to compete at the Grand Slams, often to great success.
Steffi Graff and John McEnroe (Wimbledon 1999)
John McEnroe came out of retirement after seven years to partner up with legendary WTA star Steffi Graff at Wimbledon in 1999.
The pair went on an incredible run all the way to the semi-finals where Graff eventually withdrew to focus on her singles final.

Martina Navratilova’s longevity is perhaps the most impressive tennis has ever seen.
When she partnered up with Bob Bryan at the 2006 US Open, she was just a month shy of being 50-years-old.
Age was indeed just a number however, as the pair powered their way home to the title, and Navratilova’s 59th and final Major trophy.
Tatiana Golovin and Richard Gasquet (French Open 2004)
From old to young, Tatiana Golovin and Richard Gasquet had French tennis fans brimming with excitement after their performance at Roland Garros in 2004.
The pair were just 16 and 17-years-old respectively when they won the title in Paris, with many expecting big things in the years to come.
Unfortunately for the French duo, their success in 2004 was both of their only Grand Slam titles to date.
Serena Williams and Andy Murray (Wimbledon 2019)
One of the greatest WTA stars of all time joined forces with the biggest name in British tennis in 2019 as Serena Williams and Andy Murray teamed up.
The pair, both at the latter stages of their careers, reached the last 16 at the event, eventually falling in three sets to the tournaments’ number one seeds.
It remains to be seen whether or not Alcaraz and Krejcikova could one day be added to this list, but if they did take to the court together, it would certainly be worth a watch.
