After an emotional fourth day at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships fans are set for more pulsating action on day five.
Despite the wet weather the tournament can expect to be lit up by scintillating performances with the home crowd roaring on the Brits in action at the All-England Club, with the World number one Jannik Sinner and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz also set to compete.

Key storylines to follow on Day Five of Wimbledon 2024
One again British tennis will take centre stage at Wimbledon as Emma Raducanu and Sonay Kartal aim to book their spot in the fourth round.
Both players have difficult opponents, as the former British number one will take on Maria Sakkari in a rematch from the 2021 US Open semi-finals. Qualifier Kartal faces a tall task of trying to defeat World number two Coco Gauff.
Elsewhere, there is a possibility for potential upsets as Alcaraz takes on Francis Tiafoe to open proceedings on Centre Court, while French Open runner-up Jasmine Paolini takes on the resurgent Bianca Andreescu.
The veterans have impressed during week one at Wimbledon as Fabio Fognini and Roberto Bautista Agut have a chance to reach the fourth round in addition to Grigor Dimitrov and Gael Monfils, who will face each other for the first time since 2016.

American-based fans will be able to catch the action from day five of Wimbledon on several different channels. ABC, ESPN and the Tennis Channel live all show live coverage of the grass court Grand Slam.
