John Lloyd today shared what Jannik Sinner has been saying about the new Great Britain sensation Jack Draper.
Draper dismantled Carlos Alcaraz 7-6, 6-3 at Queen’s this afternoon to announce his arrival as one of the hottest talents in tennis.
The 22-year-old won the Stuttgart Open last week to claim his first professional title and he clearly relishes the grass-court season.
Draper cranked things up a notch this afternoon dumping the French Open champion out of Queen’s in straight sets.
Alcaraz won this title – and Wimbledon – last year and this is firmly the biggest win of Draper’s career to date.
Now, on the back of this unbelievable victory, Lloyd has shared what the world number one Sinner has been saying about the youngster.

What Jannik Sinner has said in private about Jack Draper
Well, this is a seriously good win for Great Britain’s number one player and whatever happens at Queen’s from now he will take heart into Wimbledon.
Lloyd shared with viewers on the BBC exactly what Sinner has been telling him about Draper behind the scenes.
He said live on BBC Two: “Someone was saying to me the other day that they were speaking to Sinner about him (Draper) and he was saying that he is already playing top 10, top 15 tennis now.
“They know the threat, they can see it coming. The word goes around. It’s the players themselves.”
Draper can do serious damage on grass and Wimbledon will be fascinating
Players on the professional tour have been served notice…Jack Draper is not here to mess around.
Winning the Stuttgart Open is one thing but beating the reigning Wimbledon champion is a different ball game altogether.
This is a win that suggests Draper can mix it with the big boys of the game and at 22, he’s a seriously talented boy.
Interstingly, Draper taking on Alcaraz could be a fierce rivalry in the years to come.
Facing each other today at Queen’s might be just the start and perhaps in the future this match-up will contest a Grand Slam final.
Sinner is the best player in the world right now and he’s acutely aware of the talent that this Sutton native has.
Draper is the future of Great British tennis and this win today proves that he’s got what it takes to compete at the top end of the game.
