Carlos Alcaraz has ramped up his preparations for the Miami Open.
The Spaniard arrived in Florida determined to have a strong campaign following his first defeat at Indian Wells since 2022.
The 21-year-old vowed to come back stronger in Miami as he bids to regain the title he won there three years ago.
If Carlos Alcaraz’s training sessions are anything to go by, he is in ominous form, which is a worrying sign for his opponents.

What happened in Carlos Alcaraz’s training session with Taylor Fritz at the Miami Open?
Ahead of Alcaraz’s opening match at Miami, he practiced with home favourite Taylor Fritz.
According to Eurosport Spain, the World number three was in no mood to mess around against the 2024 US Open runner-up.
The publication reported that Alcaraz played two practice sets against Fritz and lost just one game.
On a separate day Alcaraz played practice sets against Indian Wells finalist Holger Rune, and the session was stopped with Alcaraz leading by a set a break advantage in the second set.

Carlos Alcaraz can reclaim World number two ranking in Miami
Alcaraz is playing for more than just the title at the Miami Open.
He can also climb back to number two in the ATP rankings if he lifts the trophy for a second time, but on one condition.
Alcaraz can leapfrog the current World number two Alexander Zverev with a title run, but only if the German fails to reach the quarter-finals.
Zverev has struggled for form since losing the Australian Open final, and he is under pressure to find his best tennis in Miami.
