Emma Raducanu is in formidable form at the Miami Open, with the Briton having just stormed into the round of 16.
Jack Draper was able to win the Sunshine Double after his Indian Wells title, but he lost his opener at the Miami Open.
British hopes are now firmly on Raducanu, who is into the last 16 at the WTA 1000 event after McCartney Kessler retired hurt during their third round match.
Raducanu was leading 6-1, 3-0 at the time, having knocked out another American in Emma Navarro in the previous round.
The Briton beat the Miami Open eighth seed 7-6(8-6), 2-6, 7-6(7-3) after a first round victory over Sayaka Ishii.

Emma Raducanu relaxed after playing spikeball five minutes before latest Miami Open match
Unsurprisingly, the WTA number 60 is delighted with her current run, having shared insight into her process after her latest win.
“I am happy with my focus, it is such a big part of tennis,” Raducanu said on court, as quoted by BBC Sport.
“I haven’t been at this stage of a tournament for a while. I returned really well and put pressure on the serve, imposing myself from the first game.
“I think it’s a different approach this week. I think five minutes before the match I was playing spike ball with the team. It helps me to relax.
“When I’m playing my best tennis I’m really expressing my personality. I’d say I’m a bit of a free spirit so I don’t need restrictions or being told what to do. I think when I’m being really authentic, that’s when I’m playing my best.”
Emma Raducanu sends message to McCartney Kessler after injury
Raducanu now takes on another American and indeed another seeded player, with 17th seed Amanda Anisimova up next.
It is a match-up that is certain to attract huge interest given the duo involved and their current Miami runs.
But home favourite Anisimova may just steal the attention after her most recent win, having just knocked out Mirra Andreeva.
The 17-year-old was chasing a third successive WTA 1000 title, having won at the Dubai Tennis Championships and Indian Wells.
But the Miami Open 11th seed was upset by Anisimova, who won their feisty third round clash 7-6(7-5), 2-6, 6-3.
Raducanu will now turn her focus to that tricky meeting, but she has taken time to wish her most recent opponent well after she retired due to injury.
“I could tell something was up and it is hard to stay focused when your opponent is struggling,” Raducanu said of Kessler. “I wish her a speedy recovery because she has been playing so well.”
