What Carlos Alcaraz has been spotted doing on the court just four days after winning Wimbledon

Carlos Alcaraz certainly had a big challenge in successfully defending his Wimbledon title at the All England Club.

The Spaniard did, however, head into the third major of the year in superb form, having won the French Open.

He achieved major wins on all surfaces with that success at Roland Garros, with the clay-court win following his glories on hard and grass surfaces.

The Spanish star is clearly a talented player across all three, with Alcaraz believing he can adapt ‘very well on every surface’.

Hard courts were conquered first at the 2022 US Open, followed by the grass of Wimbledon in 2023 and the clay of the French Open earlier this year.

Carlos Alcaraz takes part in first training session since winning Wimbledon

Alcaraz will now return to the sight of his first clay-court success later this month, with the 2024 Olympics taking place in Paris.

And the world number three has wasted no time in preparing for the event, despite only just winning Wimbledon.

As per Carrusel Deportivo on X, Alcaraz took to the clay courts in his first training session back, ahead of his trip to the French capital on Monday.

Alcaraz will be extremely excited for what is to come in the French capital, with the youngster set to play alongside veteran Rafael Nadal.

The latter skipped Wimbledon in order to be fit for the tournament, with the 38-year-old expected to shine at Roland Garros given his record on clay.

The King of Clay boasts a record 14 French Open titles, helping him sit second in the all-time men’s Grand Slam titles list.

The duo are certain to be a formidable partnership, with Nadal predicting Alcaraz to be ‘one of the best in history’ after his latest Wimbledon success.

Nadal is certain to provide plenty of guidance and support for Alcaraz, although the 21-year-old is definitely not lacking in any confidence at this moment in time.
