Jack Draper may just have his sights set on Grand Slam success in 2025, having just enjoyed his best season yet.
Draper is in a fitness race for the Australian Open, with the British number one currently suffering from a hip issue.
It is a different hip problem to the one that Draper suffered from in early 2023, although it has now severely impacted his pre-season training plans.
The 22-year-old was planning on taking part in a week-long training camp with Carlos Alcaraz in Spain, but the injury has forced him to withdraw.
Draper arguably improved more than any other ATP player in 2024, having won two titles and climbed to 15th in the world rankings.

Tim Henman says if Jack Draper can win a Grand Slam in 2025
That career-high ranking was helped by his stunning US Open run, where he reached the semi-finals before losing to eventual champion Jannik Sinner.
Sinner and Alcaraz shared the 2024 Grand Slam titles, with former British number one Tim Henman now sharing his thoughts on how Draper will fit into the puzzle next year.

Having been asked by Sky Sports if Draper can win a Grand Slam in 2025 and compete with Alcaraz and Sinner, Henman said: “Look, one step at a time. He’s 15 in the world. I think the next obvious barrier is the top 10.
“Those guys are ahead of everyone, having won all four majors last year, they won two each Alcaraz and Sinner, but Jack wants to put himself in that equation so he has to play consistently in the big tournaments and when he gets the opportunity to play against them that will give us a better barometer of where his game is at.”
What is Jack Draper’s career Grand Slam record?
Draper was simply outstanding in 2024, with the Briton winning his first two ATP Tour titles in Stuttgart and Vienna.
He soared up the rankings with his efforts on the court, which is particularly impressive given his injury struggles not so long ago.

But now he will be desperate to push on, with Draper definitely only just getting going in his Grand Slam career.
His US Open last-four spot was undoubtedly the highlight last time out, with that run coming after second round exits at the Australian Open and Wimbledon and a first round exit at the French Open.
| Australian Open | French Open | Wimbledon | US Open | |
| 2021 | N/A | N/A | 1st | N/A |
| 2022 | N/A | N/A | 2nd | 3rd |
| 2023 | 1st | 1st | N/A | 4th |
| 2024 | 2nd | 1st | 2nd | SF |
Henman is, however, right in saying that Draper shouldn’t get carried away, with plenty of time for the 22-year-old to fully become the best version of himself and lift a Grand Slam trophy.
