Who has withdrawn from the ATP Queen’s Club Championship?

With less than a week before the ATP Queen’s Club Championships, three players have been forced to pull out.

Two of those players competed in the Queen’s final a year ago, Lorenzo Musetti and champion Tommy Paul, who has been dealing with an abdominal injury.

The American defeated the World number eight 6-1, 7-6 to claim the title, but he will not defend his crown in 2025 and Musetti is also no longer in the draw.

The third player to have pulled out of Queen’s is Matteo Berrettini, who has struggled with injury throughout the season.

Berrettini last played at the Italian Open, where he retired from his match against Casper Ruud while trailing 5-7, 0-2.

He also could not continue his Madrid Open match against Jack Draper, which ended following the conclusion of set one.

Who are the replacements of Tommy Paul, Lorenzo Musetti and Matteo Berrettini at Queen’s?

With Paul, Musetti and Berrettini no longer able to play at Queen’s, their replacements have now been named.

One of them is Alexander Bublik, who made a surprise run to the French Open quarter-finals on June 4, where he lost to Jannik Sinner.

America’s Jenson Brooksby will also now be at Queen’s and will start his grass court season after winning his very first title on clay.

The 24-year-old defeated the likes of Paul and Francis Tiafoe on the way to lifting the Houston Open trophy and he is hungry for more success on grass.

The final replacement is Ugo Carabelli, who is ranked 53 in the world and has played just two previous matches on grass, the last of which came in 2024.

Both matches came in the Wimbledon qualifying rounds, so Queen’s will mark Carabelli’s first ATP main draw match on a grass court.
