Carlos Alcaraz is wasting no time in getting ready for the 2025 season, with the Spaniard now back in training.
Alcaraz just played the Charlotte Invitational, losing to Frances Tiafoe after beating Ben Shelton at The Garden Cup.
The Spanish star won four ATP Tour-level titles in a very successful 2024 season, including the French Open and Wimbledon.
Alcaraz did, however, finish behind Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the year-end rankings, having topped the pile himself in 2022.
He did manage to qualify early for the ATP Finals, but failed to make it out of the groups as his new rival Sinner lifted the trophy.

His focus will now firmly be on the 2025 Australian Open, with the first Grand Slam of the season getting underway in mid-January.
And those preparations are now underway at the Ferrero Tennis Academy, where Alcaraz has been joined in training by Jack Draper and Flavio Cobolli, according to Marca.
The publication reported that the initial training on Monday will predominantly involve physical work, with Alcaraz having also trained with Cobolli at this stage last season.

All three players will be seeded for the 2025 Australian Open, with Alcaraz behind only Sinner and Zverev.
British number one Draper meanwhile sits in a career-high 15th place, with Cobolli the final seed due to his ranking of 32.

Draper beat Alcaraz at Queen’s earlier this year, with the Briton then securing his best Grand Slam finish as he reached the US Open semi-final.

He fell to Tommy Paul in the second round in Melbourne last time out, with Italian ace Cobolli reaching the third round on his tournament debut before losing to home favourite Alex de Minaur.
As for Alcaraz, he will be eyeing a lengthier stay in Australia to start his new season, having lost to Zverev in the quarter-finals in the 2024 event.
