Wimbledon is just around the corner, and Carlos Alcaraz goes into the event as the man to beat.

The Spaniard has won the last two tournaments at the All England Club, and although Jannik Sinner is the world number one, Alcaraz is the form player.

Wimbledon is always the Grand Slam that the players look forward to on the ATP Tour. It’s the one major that is steeped in tradition and is loved globally because of that.

Alcaraz hailed Jiri Lehecka after beating him at Queen’s yesterday, whilst Alexander Bublik took the Halle title, beating Daniil Medvedev in the final.

With the tournament now just a week away, the new ATP rankings have been released following the two major warm-up tournaments, and there are changes to the top 10.

New ATP rankings announced before Wimbledon

With the next Grand Slam just around the corner, it’s an exciting time to be a tennis aficionado.

The new rankings offer some updates, and Jack Draper is arguably the big winner ahead of his home Grand Slam.

Draper has moved into the top four, which means that he can’t meet Sinner or Alcaraz until the semi-final at the very earliest at this year’s event.

There are also position changes for Novak Djokovic, Holger Rune and Medvedev going into Wimbledon.

How the ATP rankings look going into Wimbledon

There is a tournament this week at Eastbourne, but the seedings for Wimbledon are now set.

Alcaraz and Sinner will both be on a collision course to meet each other in the final again, all being well, and it would be great for fans if that were the case.
