Coco Gauff continues her quest for further Grand Slam glory this week as the American takes on the main draw at Wimbledon.
Gauff played a practice match with Aryna Sabalenka ahead of their respective opening matches at Wimbledon, having just played out the French Open final.
Sabalenka has a good relationship with Gauff, with the pair having been in high spirits on Centre Court after being rivals at Court Philippe-Chatrier.
Gauff won their final in Roland Garros earlier this month, but WTA number one Sabalenka stole plenty of the headlines with her post-match comments.
American ace Gauff accepted an apology from Sabalenka after the runner-up suggested she had lost the match as opposed to the champion actually winning it.

Coco Gauff praised by tennis fans for comments on Aryna Sabalenka after French Open
And the former has now been praised by tennis fans for her mature handling of the entire situation when speaking in her opening Wimbledon press conference.
One fan wrote on X: “It’s admirable the level of maturity and wisdom Coco possesses at such a young age. Her family has done an amazing job behind her and you can see that in situations like this.”

A third fan commented: “You can tell that Gauff is a very warm, humble, and very driven young woman. Those parents should be proud. Class.”
A fourth wrote: “Soooo classy,” as a fifth said: “We love you so much! Character, integrity, compassion, and grace are the reasons we love, admire and appreciate you. Keep shining your light and being the amazing person you are.”
Further praise arrived from others, who said: “Class act from Coco”, “She is mature.. nice to see,” and “Great response Coco.”
Coco Gauff fully deserves huge praise heading into Wimbledon
Gauff is fully deserving of the praise she is receiving ahead of Wimbledon, with the American setting a great example off the court.
Such an example is being set for her fellow professionals across the women’s and men’s games, and certainly for young fans of the sport.
She is remarkably showing such character and maturity despite being just 21 years old, with her admirable approach now hopefully set to be rewarded with more success on the court.
But she enters Wimbledon in losing form, having suffered defeat to eventual runner-up Wang Xinyu in her Berlin opener.
World number one Sabalenka also took on the WTA 500 event, falling to eventual champion Marketa Vondrousova in the semi-finals.
The Belarusian is the top seed in London and meets Carson Branstine in round one, while second seed Gauff takes on Dayana Yastremska.
