Iga Swiatek has proven time and again that she is not to be messed with, with the Polish star unsurprisingly sitting top of the world rankings.
At just 22 years old, she already has four grand slam titles to her name, with three in the French Open and one in the US Open.
Now she is back at her favourite stomping ground, and has stormed into the third round of the competition in Paris.
The Pole overcame French player Leolia Jeanjean in round one at Roland Garros, easing past her opponent 6-1, 6-2.
But a much stiffer challenge awaited in the second round in the form of her friend Naomi Osaka, also a four-time grand slam winner, and someone Swiatek has learned a lot from.

Iga Swiatek secures stunning comeback win against Naomi Osaka
Both players received a very warm welcome in Paris, in a highly-anticipated match between two clay-court greats.
But it was the Pole who came out on top, saving a match point to defeat her Japanese opponent in three thrilling sets.
The world number one secured her 16th consecutive Roland-Garros victory, eventually winning 7-6(1), 1-6, 7-5 in two hours and 57 minutes.
Tennis fans are all saying the same thing about Iga Swiatek
Tennis fans have since taken to X to congratulate Swiatek on the incredible success, with many comparing her to men’s great Rafael Nadal.
“It’s the women’s version of Nadal in Roland Garros,” one user said, with another commenting “She is very much like the women’s Rafa Nadal on clay.”
Another fan drew immediate comparisons to Nadal’s stunning comeback against Daniil Medvedev to win the 2022 Australian Open 2-6, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4, 7-5, noting: “Watching the game today I immediately remembered this.”
Further Nadal comparisons arrived, with users saying: “She’s Nadal part 2 in RG,” “Iga was Rafa-like in her comeback today,” “Rafa genes,” and “She remembered Rafa mode.”
A different user opted to go down the Novak Djokovic comparison route, writing: “Proper Djokovic comeback vibes,” with another saying: “She’s the best isn’t she?”
Her mentality was also praised, with one comment reading: “She’s just a beast and a generational talent. What a mentality she has! Despite being down for so long and struggling mentally, she comes back and wins. She is going down in history as one of the best ever.”
Swiatek’s win means that she now extends her winning streak on clay to 14 matches, with her only defeat on the surface this year coming against Elena Rybakina back in April.
The Roland Garros favourite will now go on to face either Jana Fett or Marie Bouzkova in the third round.
