The Six Kings Slam has returned, with Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz having just progressed to the semifinals.

Sinner has returned from injury to play at the Six Kings Slam, where the Italian is the defending champion.

He opened his account this year with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas, and now meets Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.

Fritz meanwhile overcame Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-4 in their quarterfinal, and meets Carlos Alcaraz for a place in the final.

Even with their defeats, Tsitsipas and Zverev have been rewarded handsomely in terms of finances, while Sinner and Fritz will be on a high after their wins.

Tennis fans already have multiple complaints about the Six Kings Slam coverage

However, the Six Kings Slam has not been well received by many tennis fans, who have been venting their frustration with the tournament on social media.

One wrote on X: “The camera shots were terrible last year and they’re terrible this year too. How hard could it be to fix that and not do it?”

A second commented: “Is it me or everyone else feels Six Kings Slam is boring and lame with weird camera angles?”

The criticism didn’t end there, with another angry fan writing: “The telecast for Six Kings Slam is awful. It was so much better last year!”

Another said: “The low camera from the position of where ball boys stand is annoying. I can’t get a grab of what’s going on and already the match is over.”

Others said of the coverage: “Let’s be honest, it is horrible,” “You can’t even hear the ball,” and “They still have this awful camera.”

Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz light up Six Kings Slam amid fan complaints

Many fans clearly aren’t happy with the big-money event in Riyadh, where a huge $6million is on offer for the winner.

In that light, the players won’t be caring too much about the camera angles or any other aspect of the coverage for that matter.

But it isn’t exactly a good look for tournament organisers if complaints are rolling in after just two matches, particularly if fans aired similar criticism at last year’s event.

Importantly, however, there has been some superb tennis on display already, with fans getting a reminder of just how lethal Sinner can be on his day.

There was also an important and commanding win for American star Fritz, who continued his superb run against Zverev.

Handed a bye into the semifinals, Djokovic and Alcaraz will now be eager to make their mark on the Six Kings Slam with winning displays.
