CoCo Vandeweghe has delivered her prediction on the Madrid Open match between Rafael Nadal and Pedro Cachin.
The Spaniard was brilliant in knocking out Alex de Minaur in the last round and it appears he’s in good health.
It’s been a turbulent start to the year for Nadal as injuries hamper the final stages of his career.
However, he showed no ill effects against the Australian and that is a scary thought for every other player on the planet ahead of Roland Garros.
Now, ahead of his last 32 match with Cachin later today, Vandeweghe has delivered her verdict on the forthcoming match.

Well, it would appear as if nobody is giving the Argentine much of a chance against the man considered the greatest ever on clay.
Nadal will fancy a good run in this tournament – provided, of course, that he can remain in strong health.
This is probably the final year that the 37-year-old will play tennis – and Nadal has already announced he will play in the Laver Cup.
Now, Vandeweghe has delivered her prediction ahead of Nadal’s next match and she doesn’t envisage too many problems.
She told The Tennis Channel: “The level that we saw from the King of Clay in the previous round was just too good and I don’t think Cachin is going to pose too much of a problem for Rafa
“The only question mark that might pose a problem for Rafa is going to be his health, whether he’s going to be able to recover or not – obviously he has had a day to be able to recover.
“Good luck to Cachin but money is on Rafa.”
Nadal could star at French Open if he stays fit
It’s a thing of beauty to see Nadal start playing well ahead of the tournament that he’s enjoyed the most success.
Nadal has won 14 French Open titles and no play in history has enjoyed as much success at Roland Garros.
It would be tough for the legendary player to win it again this year – but if he’s fit to enter the tournament, he has to be in the mix.
In the short term, all Nadal can do is keep himself fit, enjoy his tennis and see what the future holds for him.
In our view, Vandeweghe is right here and we think Nadal will get beyond Cachin with minimal fuss.
