Fritz has been in excellent form throughout the tournament, beating Matteo Berrettini, Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev.
Meanwhile, Tiafoe had to come through Ben Shelton, Alexei Popyrin – who beat Novak Djokovic – and Grigor Dimitrov to reach the final four.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the semi-final clash that guarantees an American men’s singles Grand Slam finalist for the first time since 2009 (Andy Roddick).

Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe’s best matches
Tokyo: One of Fritz and Tiafoe’s best matches was the final at the 2022 Japan Open. It was a close encounter with both sets going to a tiebreak.
Fritz came out on top, as he has done regularly against his compatriot, and entered the top 10 in the world rankings for the first time.
Canada: In the second of three meetings between the pair in 2022, Fritz beat Tiafoe in three sets at the Canadian Open to advance to the next round.
Tiafoe took the first set but Fritz bounced back and thrashed his opponent in the second set before clinching the third to set up a round-of-16 clash with Dan Evans.
Paris: Fritz overcame Tiafoe at the ATP Masters 1000 Paris in 2019 despite suffering a knee injury in the first set tiebreak.
Fritz lost the second set as his knee troubled him but returned to form in the third after some work by his physio.
