Taylor Fritz plans to change his routine following a run to the Wimbledon quarter-finals.
The 26-year-old found himself within a set of reaching the last four of a major for the first time in his career.
But he found himself on the receiving end of a crushing five-set loss to Lorenzo Musetti, who advanced to his first major semi final.
This brings Fritz‘s solid grass court season to an end and the 12th seed has no plans to rest on his laurels as he looks ahead to the Paris Olympic Games.
What will Taylor Fritz change after Wimbledon defeat?
Fritz engaged in an entertaining battle with Musetti on Court One at Wimbledon in which he just fell short.
This was the American’s second successive five-set match after coming from two sets down to beat Alexander Zverev in the fourth round.
This brings an end to a grass court season in which he made two quarter-finals and claimed the Eastbourne title for the third time.
Despite the devastating defeat, Fritz is pleased with his level of tennis and plans to make a change to ensure he maintains his level.
“I think I have been playing well, I’m on a swing right now. I am going to go home and not do what I normally do and not take seven days off and do nothing and then after re-learn how to play again,” he said to reporters.
“I am pretty motivated to stay on top of things right now and keep the momentum going because I think I am playing really solid tennis.”

Taylor Fritz misses chance to face Novak Djokovic after Wimbledon loss
After losing his fourth successive Grand Slam quarter-final, Fritz was denied the chance to compete for a Wimbledon semi-final spot against Novak Djokovic.
The Serbian reached the last four without hitting a ball after his scheduled quarter-final opponent Alex De Minaur withdrew from the tournament due to injury.
Fritz was outlasted by Musetti who claimed a 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in three hours and 27 minutes to set up his sixth clash with the former World number one.
The 22-year-old is just the fourth Italian man to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals but he faces a tough task against the seven-time champion at the All-England Club.
