Tallon Griekspoor withdrew from the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships on Saturday.
After battling through the pain barrier in his semifinal clash with Andrey Rublev, Griekspoor was set to face Daniil Medvedev in the championship match.
The Dutchman pulled out, however, citing a left hamstring injury, resulting in Medvedev picking up his 23rd ATP title.

With the walkover, the Russian has now won the same tournament twice for the first time in his career, having emerged victorious in Dubai back in 2023.
After withdrawing, Griekspoor was asked if he will feature at the first two ATP Masters 1000 events of the year.

Tallon Griekspoor’s points to defend in the ‘Sunshine Double’
Griekspoor was set to defend 200 points from his campaign at last year’s edition of the Indian Wells Open.
In 2025, Griekspoor advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament, earning wins over Alexander Zverev and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
He ultimately lost in his last-eight bout with Holger Rune, with the Dane coming back from a set down to win.
Griekspoor did not appear at the Miami Open last year, so will have no points to defend there.
