Stefanos Tsitsipas has struggled to really get going in 2025, but his season is seemingly taking a positive turn at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Tsitsipas has reached the quarter-finals of the 2025 Dubai Tennis Championships, where he is the fourth seed.

The Greek star battled past Lorenzo Sonego in the round of 32, before edging past Karen Khachanov in the round of 16.

Tsitsipas would like to be coached by Carlos Alcaraz, who already has a title to his name this season after winning the Rotterdam Open.

World number 11 Tsitsipas is now aiming to do the same at the Dubai Tennis Championships, with Matteo Berrettini awaiting in the quarter-finals.

And he should be full of confidence ahead of the clash with the Italian, having initially started his season very poorly with an Australian Open first round exit.

But as per Tennis Channel, Tsitsipas has now made tennis history, becoming the first man born in 1998 or later to record 350 tour-level wins.

After defeating Sonego 7-6(7-4), 6-3, the Greek ace secured the milestone with a 7-6(7-4), 2-6, 6-4 victory over Khachanov.

Tsitsipas will have been hugely disappointed with his early efforts in 2025, which started with a shock defeat to Alex Michelsen in Melbourne.

The two-time Grand Slam finalist attempted to bounce back with success at the Rotterdam Open, but fell to Mattia Bellucci in the quarter-finals.

Another disappointing result went his way at the Qatar Open, where the sixth seed lost to Hamad Medjedovic in the round of 32.

But a superb milestone and hard-fought has now been reached by the 26-year-old, with Tsitsipas now one of 13 active players to earn 350 tour-level wins.

He joins the likes of Stan Wawrinka, Gael Monfils and Alexander Zverev on the list, which is perhaps unsurprisingly topped by Novak Djokovic.
