Stefanos Tsitsipas was handed the heaviest defeat of his career so far in the third round of the Miami Open.
After he knocked out fifth seed Alex de Minaur earlier in the week, Tsitsipas was beaten by Arthur Fils in 55 minutes.
The Frenchman overcame the Greek star with a bagel and a breadstick, winning 6-0, 6-1 to advance to round four.
Is Arthur Fils a genuine threat to Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner?
Fils will take on Shanghai Masters winner Valentin Vacherot in the next round, whom he has never faced on the ATP Tour before.
As for Tsitsipas, his Sunshine Double has come to an end, and he will now prepare for the clay-court season.

Stefanos Tsitsipas posts on social media after loss in Miami
A day after his loss, Tsitsipas took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say: “Taking the positives out of Miami and moving on to clay hungry and with a fresher mind.
“The journey back continues, see you in Monte-Carlo,” said the former world number three, who has found plenty of success on the clay during his career.
Who are you backing to complete the sunshine double?
Or do you think both Sabalenka and Sinner will win the Miami Open?
Tsitsipas has claimed three ATP Masters 1000 titles, all three of which have come at the Monte-Carlo Masters.
He first won the tournament during the 2021 season, and went back-to-back in 2022.
His most recent triumph in Monte-Carlo came in 2024, and now Tsitsipas will look to go far once again at the first clay-court Masters competition of the year.

Stefanos Tsitsipas’ campaign at the Monte-Carlo Masters in 2025
Tsitsipas recorded arguably his worst season on tour in 2025, having crashed out in the early stages of all four Grand Slams and almost every Masters event.
The only Masters tournament Tsitsipas reached the quarterfinals at last year was Monte-Carlo.
After receiving a bye in the first round, Tsitsipas earned wins over Jordan Thompson and Nuno Borges to advance to the last eight.
He ultimately fell to Lorenzo Musetti in three sets, with the Italian going on to reach the final before losing to Carlos Alcaraz.
Tsitsipas, currently 49th in the live ATP rankings, has reached at least the quarterfinals of the Monte-Carlo Masters every year since 2021.
