Arthur Fils handed Stefanos Tsitsipas the heaviest defeat of his career in the third round of the Miami Open.
Tsitsipas, who knocked out fifth seed Alex de Minaur on Saturday, was dominated by Fils in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1.
Wrapping up the match with a bagel and a breadstick in just 55 minutes, the Frenchman advanced to the fourth round, where he will face Shanghai Masters champion Valentin Vacherot.

Fils returned from a long-term back injury in early February and has since appeared at five ATP Tour-level events.
The 28th seed at this year’s Miami Open, previously ranked 14th in the world, is slowly but surely getting back to his best, which he emphasised after the match.

Reacting to his victory in his on-court interview, Fils said: “That’s one of the best matches I’ve ever played.
“I have played some great matches before, but this level was insane. I don’t know what to say, but very happy with the performance.

“I am fully back,” claimed the three-time ATP champion. “It feels like I never left. It feels very, very good.”
Since returning from injury, Fils has picked up nine wins and four losses on the ATP Tour.
Following a quarterfinal finish in Montpellier and an early exit in Rotterdam, Fils reached the final of the Qatar Open, where he ultimately lost to Carlos Alcaraz.
He then went on to make the quarterfinals at the Indian Wells Open, beating Felix Auger-Aliassime en route.

According to Opta Ace, only David Goffin and Alex De Minaur have conceded fewer games en route to victory over an ATP Masters 1000 champion than Fils.
Goffin defeated former Paris Masters winner Tomas Berdych 6-0, 6-0 at the 2016 Italian Open.
De Minaur, on the other hand, also won a match without conceding a game at last year’s Monte-Carlo Masters, beating Grigor Dimitrov.
Fils has never played his next opponent, Vacherot, at a tour-level competition before, with the two set to do battle for the first time in pursuit of the quarterfinals.
