Madison Keys has another all-American clash to deal with at the French Open, where she meets Coco Gauff in the quarter-finals.
Roger Federer’s former coach Paul Annacone thinks Gauff is the French Open favourite, over both Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek.
WTA number one Sabalenka is the top seed at Roland Garros, with fifth seed Swiatek the three-time defending champion.
Gauff is the second seed at the French Open, and defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-0, 7-5 to reach the last eight.
Keys meanwhile knocked out fellow American Hailey Baptiste in the fourth round, having beaten compatriot Sofia Kenin in round three.

Sam Querrey says if he thinks Madison Keys can beat Coco Gauff at the French Open
Rennae Stubbs says Keys’s composure ‘wins her so many matches’, with the former’s fellow professional Sam Querrey now giving his prediction for her next test in Paris.
Asked if Keys has a chance against Gauff, Querrey said on the Nothing Major Show: “Yeah, I give Madi a chance.

“She rips the ball and has huge ground strokes. She saved match points against Kenin. I always feel it is dangerous when someone is playing with house money.
“Coco’s forehand was awesome today, her forehand if she is hitting it like that she is tough to beat, but you never know on the forehand and second serve.
“If Coco keeps those things under control I like Coco but Madison can make anyone uncomfortable with the way she plays.”
Madison Keys vs Coco Gauff head-to-head record ahead of French Open clash
Seventh seed Keys is looking strong at the French Open, where she has also knocked out Daria Saville and Katie Boulter.
But fellow world-class players Sabalenka and Swiatek have also reached the last eight in Paris, along with rising star Mirra Andreeva.
The American did, however, win the Australian Open earlier this year, having beaten Sabalenka in the final in Melbourne.
She also has history on her side for her highly anticipated clash with Gauff, having won three and lost two of their five WTA matches.

It is set to be a thriller in the French capital, with the victor taking on the winner of the tie between Andreeva and home favourite Lois Boisson.
The Frenchwoman, ranked 361st in the world, stunned the American in the fourth round, much to the delight of those watching on.
Fans inside Court Philippe-Chatrier were left shocked by the 22-year-old wildcard, who came from behind to beat the world number three 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
