The latest event on the ATP Tour has now reached its conclusion, with Alexander Zverev winning the Paris Masters.
Zverev won a ‘difficult’ Paris Masters final, where he overcame home favourite Ugo Humbert 6-2, 6-2 in 75 minutes.
Jannik Sinner’s Paris Masters withdrawal opened the draw wide open, with the Italian having joined Novak Djokovic in withdrawing from the event.
Zverev used the quick courts to his advantage, with the German securing his seventh career ATP Masters 1000 title and second of 2024.
The Paris Masters took place on the Boulevard de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, but that will change next season.
An indoor hard-court event, it will move to La Defense Arena in 2025, in a bid to ensure the best conditions for players and fans alike.

Sam Querrey labels the Paris Masters ‘the worst’ ATP Tour event
Zverev will be delighted with his success, but the tournament certainly didn’t please Sam Querrey, who said on the latest episode of Nothing Major: “The event is not even in Paris. It’s like 20 minutes outside of Paris, it’s 40 degrees, there’s nothing to do. 8am, the sun goes down at 4pm. It’s the worst.
“I love Paris. This is like 20 minutes outside of Paris in Bercy. You don’t go to the Eiffel Tower when you have this tournament or the nice restaurants. You have to go on the subway and go in for like 30 minutes.”
Paris Masters crowd inspires Alexander Zverev
Former tennis player Querrey may not have enjoyed the tournament, but it was certainly an exciting event for the Paris Masters crowd.
Several French players, such as runner-up Humbert, really impressed on home soil, with the nation certainly heading for an exciting future on the court.
Humbert picked up superb wins against the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Karen Khachanov before finally falling short against Zverev, with the supporters having undoubtedly spurred him on.

The German meanwhile knocked out star names such as Holger Rune and Stefanos Tsitsipas before his final win over Humbert.
Zverev and Alcaraz loved the Paris Masters crowd, with the former now overtaking the latter in the ATP Tour rankings with his latest title.
