Some big names are in third-round action on day seven of Roland Garros 2024, so here is the full schedule, how to watch and all of the key information on the French Open.

Paris has already seen Coco Gauff clinch her place in the round of 16 of Roland Garros with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Dayana Yastremska. The third-seed American is still to drop a single set at the French Open in 2024. Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto now awaits Gauff next come Sunday.

No2 seed Aryna Sabalenka will attempt to follow Gauff into the round of 16 of Roland Garros this Saturday. Reigning men’s champion and No1 seed Novak Djokovic is even in third-round action at the 2024 French Open. He will bid to follow No2 seed Jannik Sinner into the last 16.

Sinner saw off Pavel Kotov in straight sets on Friday after sealing a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 win in their third-round encounter. The Italian seldom had to raise his levels to overcome the Russian in Paris as Sinner endeavours to add to his first Grand Slam title at this year’s Australian Open.

The key storyline to follow on day seven of Roland Garros 2024 in the fight to win the men’s title is how Djokovic continues his French Open defence. Italian Lorenzo Musetti awaits the Serbian on Court Philippe Chatrier to round out the third round of this year’s championship.

Djokovic has already beaten Musetti on clay once this year after winning their last 16 tie at the ATP Masters 1,000 Monte Carlo. He also beat the 22-year-old at Roland Garros back in 2021. But Musetti will eye a second win over Djokovic after beating him in Monaco last year.

Day seven of Roland Garros 2024 will also be key in the fight for the women’s title with a raft of contenders in action. Elena Rybakina takes on Elise Mertens in their sixth career meeting as the Russian-born Kazakhstani seeks her first win over the Belgian at Roland Garros so far.

Sabalenka is also chasing her first win at Roland Garros over the Belarusian’s third-round foe Paula Badosa. The pair have previously met six times with Sabalenka enjoying four wins. But the third round of the 2024 French Open now throws up their first fixture at Roland Garros.
