Iga Swiatek is preparing for another season on the WTA Tour, having really impressed in the most recent campaign.
Swiatek had a fantastic 2025 season according to her coach Wim Fissette, with the duo now hard at work for 2026.
Fissette is hoping for improvements from Swiatek at this stage of proceedings, with the Australian Open now rapidly approaching.
Swiatek added three WTA titles to her honors list in 2025, including a maiden Wimbledon title to take her Grand Slam tally to six.

Paul Annacone predicts Iga Swiatek to win the 2026 Australian Open
Hugely impressively, Swiatek could complete the career Grand Slam at the 2026 Australian Open, which arrives next month.
The possibility of the Pole achieving that feat has now been discussed by Roger Federer’s former coach Paul Annacone, who was asked if there will be a career Grand Slam winner in 2026.
He told Tennis: “Yes. I believe Iga Swiatek will get there next year and win the Australian Open.
“When it comes to the guys, nothing would shock me, but it’s tough to see both Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner making it happen in 2026. Maybe one or the other.”
Like Swiatek, Alcaraz only needs the Australian Open to complete the career Grand Slam, while Sinner needs the French Open.

CoCo Vandeweghe makes big prediction about Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz
It’s a big prediction from Annacone about Swiatek, who has reached the semifinals of the Australian Open twice, but no further.
She enjoyed such a run in 2025 before being knocked out by Madison Keys, who went on to lift the trophy.
CoCo Vandeweghe was asked the same question regarding a potential career Grand Slam champion in 2026, with the former WTA player focusing on the men’s side.
She said: “Yes, I don’t see why Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner can’t both do it this year!
“It would be interesting to see the two rivals flip the scripts at the Australian Open and Roland Garros next year the way they did at Wimbledon and the US Open this year.”
Who will win the 2026 Australian Open?
Alcaraz or Sinner achieving the feat, or indeed both, is certainly a very real possibility given the fact that they have combined to win the last eight Grand Slam titles.
But it is perhaps the Italian who has the best chance of success in 2026 given that he has already reached a French Open final, losing out to Alcaraz in 2025.
