Novak Djokovic has enjoyed another phenomenal year on the ATP Tour in 2025.
In his 21st full professional season, Djokovic clinched his 100th title and has remained inside the world’s top 10 at 38 years of age.
Despite featuring at just 11 events this year, the Serb is also joint-third in the ‘Race to Turin’, the annual battle for one of eight places in the ATP Finals.
In the twilight of his career, Djokovic is still producing world-class tennis and has received high praise from Roger Federer for an ‘incredible’ accomplishment.

In an interview with CNBC, Federer was asked about the emergence of the new era in the sport.
He replied: “I think the French Open [final] for me was a little bit that match that the game needed to really sort of move on as well from the post Roger Rafa Serena time.”
Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz delivered a masterpiece in the final of the French Open, battling in a thrilling five-setter lasting five hours and 29 minutes.
“Let’s truly embrace this rivalry and this incredible shot-making that Carlos and Jannik have right now,” said the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
Federer added: “Novak is right there as well, I think he played four semis this year in all four majors, which is incredible.”

Though 2025 marked the first season Djokovic has failed to reach a Grand Slam final, he has still enjoyed four impressive major campaigns.
At the Australian Open, he defeated Alcaraz en route to the semifinals, but was forced to retire due to injury in his next clash with Alexander Zverev.
Djokovic then reached the final four at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon, where, after two dominant runs, he was unable to find an answer for Sinner.
Finally, his 19th appearance at the US Open ended, once again, in the semifinals; this time at the hands of Alcaraz in straight sets.
